Introduction to Nitric Oxide Erection Effects

This page shows you how you can safely and effectively treat erectile dysfunction disorder using the right mix of low-cost, natural nitric oxide supplements before moving on to more drastic measures.

Update: We now have a free trial offer of an amazing nitric oxide supplement that contains the two supplements discussed here! You can click Here for a FREE TRIAL of NO3 Chrome but first you should read all the way down to understand why this stuff is so great

But before we begin, it’s important to understand how nitric oxide and nitric oxide supplements work in your body.  Nitric oxide (whose chemical name is NO) is a naturally-occurring gas that is within your body at all times.  It functions like a neurotransmitter (signaling molecule) and tells your body to relax and widen its blood vessels.  Wider blood vessels allow for more blood and nutrient delivery to your body’s muscles, along with other cardiovascular benefits.

How Nitric Oxide Works

The primary component of nitric oxide supplements is the amino acid L-Arginine. There are various forms of arginine, including the popular AAKG (arginine alpha ketogluterate), which is highly bioavailable in your system. Nitric Oxide is produced when L-arginine gets converted into L-citruline by a group of enzymes known as Nitric Oxide Synthase (NOS).

Therefore, supplements that can increase the production of nitric oxide are used for various reasons, from bodybuilding to athletic strength and performance to sexual performance.   It is the sexual performance that we will talk about here.

On to the Nitric Oxide Erection Effects:

Studies show that nitric oxide is the main vasoactive nonadrenergic, noncholinergic neurotransmitter and chemical mediator of penile erection. It activates the components necessary to “motivate” proteins that contract in your muscle – smoothing the muscle and making your penis hard. A more detailed explanation is at source[1]. An additional benefit of the widened blood vessels going into the penis is that there is a decreased outflow of blood from the penis! This means that you will be able to enjoy more time in bed.

So nitric oxide is an important activator to control the penis’ blood vessels. How do we get more nitric oxide in our bloodstream? Easy – Take more supplements that contain L-arginine, as stated above.

But wait! Arginine can’t do it alone – it needs some help, and studies have shown that Pycnogenol, a natural bark extract from France, massively assists in ED!

Pycnogenol and Arginine Combine to Make the Nitric Oxide Erection Supplement Stack

Pycnogenol works alongside nitric oxide and increases flow through the pathway that nitric oxide wants to use. A 2003 study showed that when men with erectile dysfunction were given a 1.7g of L-Arginine each day, combined with two 40mg doses of Pycnogenol, the two combined to significantly improve ED in over 80% of the study’s participants!! What a killer combo! No side effects were seen either![2]

A Free Trial of NO3 Chrome – Contains Arginine Nitrate AND Pycnogenol!

At this time, we’re happy to announce that there is an arginine-based product out there that also contains pycnogenol – AND there’s a free trial for it! It’s called NO3 Chrome from a popular supplement company named Cellucor.

Now, first, I must tell you that this product is geared towards the fitness and bodybuilding community – this is meant to be used a pre workout supplement, not as an erection drug. But it contains what you need, and is for free (you do have to pay for shipping), so you might as well try it on someone else’s dime!

Click Here for a FREE TRIAL of NO3 Chrome or click on the image below. You can also continue to read on for more details!

NO3 Chrome uses arginine nitrate, which is a bit different than the rest of the forms of arginine mentioned here. Do not mix it with other ED drugs or other nitrate-based products.

Obligatory Disclaimer Before Giving You the Nitric Oxide Erection Supplement Stack

Before we go any further, it’s important to note that erectile dysfunction (ED) is caused by a variety of pathogenic factors, but particularly impaired formation and action of NO is one of the big factors. We take no responsibility for the information on this page – while we follow research studies, we are not doctors. Consult yours.

We cannot guarantee safety nor success with over-the-counter supplements – but our “stack” shown below is safe and inexpensive so it’s worth trying out!

If you are heavily overweight or don’t have a quality diet full of natural foods, these supplements may not work as well. If you are diabetic, we don’t recommend them at all. There is only so much increased blood flow can do. It cannot overcome mental issues in your brain, nor can it overcome significant high blood pressure problems.

See a doctor before taking any supplements, and do not mix them with prescription medicine unless as advised by a doctor. Follow all labels on the supplements.

The Nitric Oxide Erection Supplement Stack

We firmly believe that NO3 Chrome is a great route to take, as listed above. But if you want to try your own mix of supplements, then this is a stack that can work for you.

We are sending you to as it is the most trusted store and is one of the few stores that has all of the products we’re recommending. We also enjoy NOW Foods supplements due to their fantastic deals and quality product.

  1. 6g of some form of L-Arginine Each Day, broken in half and taking 3g twice a day. Try to take one dose 30-45 minutes prior to sexual activity (similarly to how bodybuilders take arginine 30-45 minutes before weightlifting!)
Choose one of these two – we prefer AAKG as it is the most bio-available. BUT – L-Arginine is what was used in the studies, so that’s a bit more proven:
  2. Pycnogenol – Start at two doses of 30mg/day. Note that in the referenced study[2], they did two doses of 40mg each day, so you can consider adding one more 15mg capsule somewhere in the day if you don’t see improvement.
    Buy Pycnogenol from NOW Foods

What about Testosterone Boosters?

Another issue that may be happening is that your testosterone levels are low. Once again, it’s probably because your diet is garbage, your sleep sucks, you aren’t working out properly (or at all), and your life is too stressful. We’re happy to help you out if that is the case…

…but if you have all of that in check, there are some natural testosterone boosters out there. We are not going to go into steroids, prohormones, or anything ridiculous here. We will start with natural supplements that have been studied and deemed safe. Again, speak with your doctor before taking any type of supplements – especially testosterone boosters!

Two main natural extract supplements that have shown to improve testosterone levels and help with erectile dysfunction are maca root extract (Lepidium meyenii)[3] and Horny Goat Weed (icariin)[4]. Study [4] shows that icariin from Horny Goat Weed actually works like Viagra! Other natural supplements that have been shown to help are yohimbine, Panax ginseng, Maca, and Ginkgo biloba.[5]

And the good news is that we found a quality product that has it all – Prolab Horny Goat Weed! The dosages are definitely less than what was used in study 3, but follow the bottle’s instructions and see if this makes you feel any more vibrant.

Coming Back to Diet…

If you need assistance in getting a natural diet that will safely elevate your testosterone levels and help you achieve a more satisfying love life, please contact us, we’d love to help and give you some no-bullshit help all based upon solid research. 30 days on our plan will change your life forever, and we’re currently writing an online book about it that will release in 2011.

Once again, consult a doctor before using supplements, and do not mix supplements with prescription medication unless under the supervision of a doctor.

Why is it unsafe to take cellucor no3 chrome along with viagra? Is it truly unsafe?

You need to speak with your doctor ANY time you want to mix supplements with prescription meds. The nitrate + pycnogenol effect is extremely similar to that which ED meds do, and you don’t want to get a double effecdt as your blood pressure might go too low. And plus, the label says not to, so don’t. You have been warned. See your doctor.
